A Simple Dinner yet Satisfying
There are times that it so difficult for us to decide what to cook and what we really want to eat. For me, I can cook whatever we have in the fridge, it doesn't matter with my husband as long the food is tasty. I'm not bragging at all but according to my sister-in-law everything I cook is good for her. Of course, I'm happy to hear that and makes me more confident in "my way of cooking". Yes, everyone has different way or style in cooking but what matter most is the taste, right? So, everybody can be a cook or chef in their own way. One day my husband is craving for Pinto beans and mashed potato. I cooked Pinto beans with bacon, buttery mashed potato, fried yellow squash and fried tempura chicken. For my pinto beans I used HamBeens brand, 20 ozs., Hormel bacon and ground black pepper, salt for taste. For the mashed potato I used russets potato, butter and fresh milk. For the fried yellow squash, eggs, self rising flour and cornmeal. The last is tempura chicken, I used chicken breast and tempura flour mix. Everything is easy to prepare and cook.
