Halloween 2013

 Halloween Decoration

This will be my second year to celebrate Halloween in the States with my 13 month son. These are the decoration we bought last year for our son's first halloween. I remembered what my husband said that, Halloween is one of the biggest celebration in the States. I agree because the parents spend money in purchasing outfit for their kids, halloween parties, candies for treat or tricks. Last year, we asked my mother-in-law to babysit our baby while my husband and I had errands to do on halloween day. Of course I was surprised seeing people with their fancy outfit, creepy or scary looks, young and adult as well as children walking the street going to the stores and neighborhood for treats and tricks. In the subdivision we live in was crazy traffic, the cars parked everywhere, so crowded. We spent a lot for the candies, were kind of worried last year because of so many kids for treats or tricks we thought our candies wasn't enough, our door bell kept ringing until past 9 PM. It was a big relief when it was over. This year we received an invite from homeowners association that we will have halloween party, everybody is welcome. I think this will be more exciting, they have a lot of activities for the kids and adults. This will be fun!

Cotton Plantation

Cotton

It was my first time to see the cotton farm and I amazed.  My husband and I had been to bridal shooting while he was driving he kept looking at the clouds. It was very beautiful day! He was so tired and hungry and so do I. We went by in one of known Southern food restaurant and had late lunch after that he drove back on the way home. Surprisingly! He kept driving and we just past  the house and we ended up shooting the beautiful creation that day. He able to shoot the Ladds  mountain near our place which he was aiming to get some shots of the mountain and the clouds for a long time.  I'm sure he got some pretty pictures. The cotton plantation was suggested by his dad and he directed us how to go to this place. I was really speechless when I saw the huge cotton plantation. I felt I was floating in the sky, for me, it looked like clouds. It's all white on both sides of the road. I couldn't resist to grabbed my camera and took some shots while my husband was on the other side of the road busy taking pictures too. I'm happy of what I've got and it was a good opportunity for me to see the place. It's a beautiful creation indeed.
